🍂 SOUTH JERSEY WEEKEND GUIDE ~ Let's Finish Out September!

Can you believe it ~ the last weekend of September is here, and South Jersey is sending the month out in style. Pumpkins and sunflowers, a farewell party 30 years in the making, a 200th birthday, monster trucks on the sand, and free family fun on the waterfront. Here's everything worth getting out for.

🎃 FRIDAY, September 25

Red Barn Farm Sunflower & Fall Festival
📍 Hammonton | 🕓 4 PM–dusk | 💲 Free entry (paid add-ons)
The sunflower fields are peaking right now ~ and since pumpkins don't start until October 3, this is THE weekend for those golden blooms. Free fairgrounds and parking; add on a hayride, the 10-acre corn maze, or u-pick sunflowers. New this year: a wheelchair-accessible hayride wagon so everyone rides together. Dog-friendly, too.

Monsters on the Beach
📍 Wildwood beach | 🕖 7 PM | 💲 Tickets from $25 adults / $15 kids
Seven monster trucks battle it out on the sand for the title of "King of the Beach." Friday's a single evening show ~ grab tickets in advance to save.

🍁 SATURDAY, September 26

Stella Farms Fall Festival
📍 Berlin | 🕘 9 AM–4 PM | 💲 Free (parking $5)
Your classic South Jersey fall day: pumpkin picking, hayrides, a corn maze, pony rides, a petting zoo, food and craft vendors, and live music. (Rain date Sunday.)

Diggerfest at Diggerland USA
📍 West Berlin | 🕛 Opening weekend | 💲 Included with park admission
Where else can the kids trick-or-treat, ride a real fire truck, AND operate actual construction machines? Diggerland's fall festival kicks off this weekend with Dig or Treat (through 12:30), a Parade of Machines around 1 PM, hayrides, and pumpkin decorating.

Woofstock 30 ~ The "FUR-well Tour"
📍 Voorhees Town Center | 🕚 11 AM–4 PM | 💲 $2/person ($5 for 3+)
The Voorhees Animal Orphanage throws its biggest party of the year ~ and this 30th anniversary may be its last at the Town Center, so they're calling it the "FUR-well Tour." Vendors, food trucks, adoptable pups, a kids' corner, and thousands of four-legged guests. Bring your (leashed) dog!

Delaware River Festival
📍 Camden Waterfront (Wiggins Park) | 🕙 10 AM–4 PM | 💲 Free
One free festival on both sides of the river, connected by a free ferry. Pedal boats, a tall ship tour, a bird show, face painting, and free entry to the Independence Seaport Museum. Rain or shine.

Celebrating 200 Years of the Berlin Hotel
📍 Berlin | 🕒 3–5 PM | 💲 Free
A true once-in-a-lifetime moment: the Berlin Hotel ~ the oldest commercial building on Route 30 and a former stagecoach stop dating to 1826 ~ turns 200. Cake, ice cream, a community sing-a-long, and self-guided tours of a genuine piece of South Jersey history.

EEF 5K & Color Run
📍 Marlton (Beeler Elementary) | 🕣 5K at 8:30 AM | 💲 Registration required
Start the morning with a chip-timed 5K, a 1-mile family walk, and a colorful Color Run ~ all supporting Evesham's schools. Everyone gets a commemorative t-shirt.

🌰 SUNDAY, September 27

Stratford Fall Festival
📍 Stratford (Yellin School) | 🕚 11 AM–4 PM | 💲 Free
Close out the month with a hometown street festival: vendors and artisans, food, live entertainment, a kids' zone, a Knights of Columbus car show, and even a pie bake-off.

Italian Festival
📍 Paulsboro (Sons of Italy Lodge 2580) | 🕚 11 AM–6 PM | 💲 Free entry
Kick off Italian Heritage Month the delicious way ~ authentic Italian food, a beer garden, live music, and a cultural display at the Carmel S. Morina Lodge.

Still going all weekend: Red Barn Farm (Sat & Sun, 11 AM–dusk) and Monsters on the Beach (Sat 4 PM, Sun 12:30 PM).
