🍂 SOUTH JERSEY WEEKEND ~ The Rainy-Day Edition

Well ~ Mother Nature decided to join the party this weekend! It's a wet one out there, so before you settle in for a couch-and-blanket kind of day (also a completely valid weekend plan 😊), here are a few that don't mind a little rain.

Delaware River Festival

Goes rain or shine ~ and much of it stays dry: a tall ship to tour, free entry into the Independence Seaport Museum, face painting, and free ferry rides across to Philly. A great way to turn a gray Saturday into an adventure.

Woofstock 30 ~ The "FUR-well Tour"
📍 Voorhees Town Center | 🕚 Sat, 11 AM–4 PM | 💲 $2/person ($5 for 3+)
The Voorhees Animal Orphanage's 30th (and likely last) Woofstock at the Town Center is on rain or shine ~ vendors, food trucks, adoptable pups, and a kids' corner. Grab a raincoat and bring your (leashed) best friend!

🏛️ STAY-DRY PICK

Celebrating 200 Years of the Berlin Hotel
📍 Berlin | 🕒 Sat, 3–5 PM | 💲 Free
Duck out of the drizzle and into a little history: the oldest commercial building on Route 30 ~ a former stagecoach stop dating to 1826 ~ turns 200. Cake, ice cream, a community sing-a-long, and self-guided indoor tours.

🎃 FOR THE FALL-FESTIVAL DIEHARDS

The farms are troopers ~ Red Barn Farm's sunflowers (Hammonton), Diggerfest at Diggerland (West Berlin), and Stella Farms' festival (Berlin) are all planning to go, though a couple have Sunday rain dates. If you're not scared of a little mud, just check their pages before you head out.

However you spend it ~ braving the puddles or cozy inside ~ we hope your weekend's a good one. Stay dry, and we'll see you next weekend (with much better weather, we're told 😉)!
